What Will I Get Out of the Program?

All our catering workers are eligible for our bartending course. In just three weeks, you can have the skills to start an exciting career as a bartender. At the end of program, you will:

• Tend bar with accuracy and efficiency.
• Treat customers in a way that leads to repeat business.
• Be certified as a Responsible Alcohol Server under Florida law.
• Understand cash register techniques, cash handling, and credit card procedures.
• Know proper sanitation procedures.
• Handle drink recipes with ease, including drink-making techniques, such as shaking, straining, freezing, mixing, layering, flaming and much more.
• Be familiar with the art of showmanship with flash and flair.
• Prepare garnishes.
• Know proper wine and draft beer service.
• Understand bar maintenance and housekeeping.
• Know how to handle difficult situations.
• Be comfortable with equipment usage and troubleshooting.
• Use tips for landing the job of your dreams.
